Join us for a journey into the world of art and imagination with our “Storytime Splatter” workshop, inspired by the delightful book, “Art & Max” by David Wiesner. This engaging activity is perfect for budding young artists aged 5 to 10. Workshop Highlights: 1. Storytime: Our adventure begins with an interactive storytelling session featuring “Art & Max.” This imaginative tale follows the artistic escapades of two lizard friends, Art and Max, as they explore the world of creativity and self-expression. 2. Creative Exploration: After the story, children will be inspired to embark on their own artistic journey. Equipped with a 6″ x 6″ canvas, a palette of vibrant colors, and the spirit of adventure, young artists will dive into the world of paint splattering. This hands-on experience encourages them to let go of inhibitions, embrace spontaneity, and create their unique masterpieces. 3. Guided by Experts: Our friendly and experienced instructors will be on hand to provide guidance, tips, and encouragement throughout the workshop. Children will have the freedom to experiment with various splattering techniques, allowing their creativity to flourish. 4. Take-Home Masterpiece: At the end of the workshop, each participant will proudly take home their one-of-a-kind splatter-painted canvas—a tangible reminder of their artistic exploration and a cherished keepsake. 5. Social and Educational: In addition to fostering creativity, this workshop offers valuable social interaction and encourages active listening during the storytime segment.
