PrimeTime Saturday Programs for grades K-3 are BACK at Talcott Mountain Science Center!
Saturdays at Talcott allow students to work on projects and in areas that complement their STEM work in school. From Robotics to Bugs from Rockets to Solar Energy and more students pick an area to study and work in a group of 12 or less to learn build skills and create new things.
The PrimeTime program is for students in grades K-3 and meets for 3 Saturdays per topic.
Tuition is $180 for TMSC members $200 for non-members.

Spring PrimeTime Sessions Offered 2021:
March 20 27 & April 24 | 10am-4pm
Animate your own creations! You’ll learn to use paper and “cel” animation claymation even stop-motion computer animation and more with your original characters toys or action figures!
Sun Moon & Stars
May 1 8 & 15 | 10am-4pm
Does it storm on the sun? Find out in this out-of-this-world adventure. Students will use our solar telescopes sun-spotters desktop planetariums and solar system models to explore the universe and create a planetarium show for our planetarium.
May 22 June 5 & 12 | 10am-4pm
They lived more than 65 million years ago but that doesn’t mean you can’t find them today! Dig up fossils examine them and transform into the ultimate paleontologist! You’ll even bring home a life-sized dinosaur or dinosaur part art project (warning – you may need a bigger fridge to put these on)!
