School Visits
Works of art in the Museum’s collection are rich, primary source texts that encourage interdisciplinary learning for all grade levels. The NBMAA offers school visits that are designed to enrich curricula and engage students in dialogue as they view artworks in the galleries and create projects in the American Savings Foundation Art & Education Center. Contact Maura O’Shea, Coordinator of Adult and Student Tours and Teacher Programs, at 860-229-0257, ext. 235 or at to learn more about how the NBMAA promotes arts integration with the CT Social Studies Frameworks, Common Core Standards for English Language Arts and Math, and the Next Generation Science Standards.
