About our lab: The Yale Innovative Interactions lab is a research group directed by Dr. Alan E. Kazdin, within the Department of Psychology. Our center is dedicated to learning more about how people of all ages interact with animals and robots to improve their own wellbeing and cope with the challenges of daily life.
The Ridgefield School of Dance is a school of excellence, discipline, challenge and joy, and is supported by a faculty of current and former professional dancers. We offer pre-professional and recreational classes in Classical Ballet and Jazz. In addition to Ballet and Jazz, we offer Pre-Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Tap, Musical Theater Dance, and adult classes along with Summer Dance Programs as an integral part of our curriculum.
Jaxsn Music Recording/Production Studio became established in 1993 in Hartford, Connecticut.
We are looking for youth with talent and drive that want to succeed musically, under the guidance of a true professional. Recording packages and studio sessions are available.
I am a certified speech language pathologists, licensed in NY and CT. I am trained in all aspects of speech and language disorders, however I specialize in Sensory motor feeding disorder, Oral Placement/Oral motor, Speech Motor disorders, Stuttering and Myofunctional Disorders (tongue thrusting). I work one to one with families in my clinic, in homes and in schools. I conduct evaluations and program plans for children in NY and Fairfield, CT. I utilize a multi sensory approach to treatment and focus on each child's unique individual learning style. I have specialized training in Oral Placement disorders, SOS feeding, Apraxia, Applied Behavioral Analysis, autism, Myofunctional therapy, Thumb/finger/tongue sucking, Beckman techniques, and PROMPT. Parents can choose to pay privately or receive services via many health insurance providers. Flexible hours and scheduling include evenings and Saturdays.
Evaluation and treatment are available for but not limited to; Autism Dysarthria(low tone), Down Syndrome, failure to thrive, self limited diets and mastication deficits. Myofunctional Disorders (tongue thrusting), speech clarity deficits, Apraxia, ankyloglossia (tongue tie), Feeding and swallowing aversions and deviated swallowing which contributes to orthodontic, pedodontic and periodontic problems. The structure of the oral mechanism is taken into account and function. I also believe that the training of the parents and caregivers is critical as parents are always welcomed to observe therapy sessions and became active participants in the therapy process. Collaboration of all professionals involved in the child'd medical and educational plan are also considered to be very important.
Family Centers’ Early Care and Education programs offer full-time care for young children at four accredited facilities in Greenwich.
The Arch Street Preschool, Gateway Preschool and Dancing Dolphins School Readiness Class help children ages three to five prepare for kindergarten through learning, socialization and play. The Gateway Preschool also offers a class for two year-olds. The Joan Melber Warburg Early Childhood Center provides nurturing care for children ages six weeks to two years.
